Numbers followed by # are from the Mobil MSDS.
Numbers followed by ? are my extrapolations from other Mobil 1 oils.
All other numbers come from the Shell viscosity calculator.

Using these numbers:

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15W-50
HTHS: 5.4?
Vis@100C: 18.7#
Vis@40C: 136.5#

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30
HTHS: 3.2?
Vis@100C: 10.2#
Vis@40C: 57.2#

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10W-40
HTHS 4.2?
Vis@100C: 14.2#
Vis@40C: 91.3#

I get this:

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10W-40
HTHS 4.2?
Vis@150C: 5.6
Vis@100C: 14.2#
Vis@40C: 91.3#
Vis@-20C: 4530
VI: 161
HTHS/Vis@150: .75

52% Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15W-50 48% Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30
HTHS: 4.2?
Vis@150C: 5.6
Vis@100C: 14.0
Vis@40C: 89.9
Vis@-20C: 4510
VI: 160
HTHS/Vis@150: .75

See the close match?

(Also,
3*15W-50 + 2*5w30 = 14.7@100C, 5040@-20C
2*15W-50 + 3*5w30 = 13.0@100C, 3816@-20C.
One of these might be my next oil load.)

Hmmm, if I take 1 qt. of Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15w50 and mix with 4 qts. 10w30 SL, I wonder what I get?

I'm not so sure the 10W-40 product is going to make it, so feel free.....

Do you really want to know?
I'm not an expert, and this might not be reliable.
Take them for what they're worth (possibly nothing).

1*Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15W-50 + 4*Mobil 1 10w30 SL

HTHS: 3.5?
Vis@150: 4.6
Vis@100: 11.3
Vis@40: 72.6
Vis@-20: 4099 (Here is a weakness, if applicable)
VI: 148
HTHS/Vis@150C: .76 (Very good in my opinion.)

I don't have time to do any more.
The calculator is here:

Thanks Scout. Yep, I really did want to know. I have some M1 left-overs to use up.
