I don’t have any rich great uncles without kids but I have a 2nd cousin who I kept up with and he has no kids, is 10 years older than me and is worth a bundle. The only problem is that he has 50 first cousins!

My wife's youngest uncle passed away - life long bachelor. Different case, we knew him well - my kids would go home to the farm for much of the summer, when my in laws were alive and the uncle lived down the road. He would bring all kinds of games and toys and play with the kids, and later a 4-wheeler for them to ride around the farm on. The kids loved him, and given he was my MIL's little brother, they were very close. Passed away suddenly without a will. Everyone had to send in a bunch of notarized docs and the court will decide. My guess is by the time the lawyers and courts get there fee's there won't be much left.

Another person is telling me my thread title was misleading and he or she are disappointed and surprised to learn I wasn't asking for advice. No more information regarding this topic will be forthcoming either publically on the forum or in PMs. I was also told my thread titles were often misleading and misunderstood as questions. I'll make sure that doesn't happen ever again. I'm done with this thread and will no longer respond.

I inherited some amazing high-end audio equipment from one of my uncles. Every time I listen to the system, I think of him. Although I'd much rather he were still alive.

You can always clutter up someone else's thread with crap you may or may not inherit.
I mean I wouldn't mention such a thing until I have the Ferrari in my greazy hands.
I don't really have a question for you though but if you get the distillery, peg me as a guy who expects gifts but won't ask. I mean if you have to ask, it's not a gift. Kinda thing.
Sadly, like me, my relatives were/are quite good looking rather than rich so nothing to inherit.
