3 types of Rib Rub after 6 years of DOE's (Design of Experiments) of many types of Rib Rubs. I cut a rack into 3rd's, one type of rub on one third, another on the other third and another rib rub on the last third. See which is best. Carry over the best of the three & repeat over & over with different rubs. Then, I combine the best rubs for the best flavor.
After that controlled set of experiments, I vary the types of wood. Then the temperatures. This is how I wound up with the best ribs possible about 10 years ago, told by about 40 other people.
So, I'll give ya one of them: John Henry's East Texas Nedra D's Hickory Rub.
Hope that helps...(?)
