My failed Costco $1.50 "kimchi" hot dog hack

Sauerkraut used to be the cheapest thing you can buy, lately it’s about the same price per pound as ground turkey, my guess is like everything it costs too much , too bad they don’t let pay a little more to get it

Gotta ask for onions now, when previously one had to ask for sauerkraut but then get onions from a dispenser.

I do remember when I used to be a Sam's Club member. They had sauerkraut, but it was in some kind of aseptic tetrahedron shaped single-serve packaging and one could grab a bunch without anyone caring.

1) There is no kimchi so there's no fermentation flavor
2) You probably would achieve the same flavor without mixing everything up unevenly. Just one dash of each along side each other would be ok, and look much better.

You can buy kimchi in a little single serving pop-top can if you need to have it when you're out and about.
