I last gave a review of my 2004 F150 about 7 months ago when it was at 90,000 miles. I thought I'd post an update to say that at 106,000 miles, 16K later, this truck is holding up great! Like I said last time, I have never had it in the shop for anything beyond normal maintenance and tires. I know some people who's cars hit around 100K, they start having problems. Defiantly not the case with my truck. The 16K in the last 7 months has been almost all highway and averaged about 100-350 miles per day, so it was getting a workout. I have gone to look at new F150's and all other new 1500 trucks, but I can't see a point to getting rid of this one yet just because it has been so reliable and always starts for me. Gas mileage is good for a truck, around 15-16 in town and 18-21 on the highway running 87 gas. Always used 5w20 or 5w30 synthetic in it and the motor runs just as quiet and smooth as it did the day it was new (4.6L V8). It is only a 2x4 but never gets stuck in the snow. All in all I am still very pleased with the F150 line and highly recommend them.
