My Crown Vic needs more repairs

I took my 93 Crown Vic to a garage today to have the front end checked. It's been clunking pretty loudly, pulling to the right and just overall felt sloppy. He got it up on the lift and started checking things out. Turns out I need 2 lower balljoints, right coil spring, right swaybar link in addition to 2 front tires, a muffler and rear brake pads. I figure I can get a spring and tires used, then buy the rest of the parts new. I guess I'm looking at something over $200 for everything I need. I can get my dad to do the work for me, so that'll save me a pile of money. I haven't driven this thing for 3 weeks now because of the front end problems, and the ignition problem which I've already taken care of. A faulty ignition module was the cause of my ignition problems, and ever since I replaced the faulty module, the car certainly seems to be running better, and with a bit more power. I need to replace the spark plugs, they're worn badly. The good thing is, aside from the parts that need replacing, the rest of the car is in surprisingly good shape for being 13 years old. Very little rust underneath, and the same goes for the body. So it looks like I'll be driving the ol' battleship again in about 2 weeks time. Shelling out the cash to keep the beast fed is gonna suck though.

these things happen. Key is to get the right work done, and make sure that ALL of the work gets done.

Sounds like youre on your way. Repairs stink, but its the way of owning a vehicle... everything you mention sounds pretty normal. In my MB, all that stuff needed replacement at about the same time.
