I haven't gotten the chance to really clean my car until today. I was satisfied with my results, but there were a ton of stubborn swirls and deep scratches that wouldn't come out and I didn't want to spend too much time on it. Haven't taken any good pictures of it since I bought it in February either so I went to snap a few.

Just changed the oil on Thanksgiving day.

Nice car.

I used Kit Scratch Out on my Sentra - really improved the finish without a lot of work and expense.

Thanks

I don't actually like the work that goes into it, but the end product is so rewarding.

Very nice. How many miles?

Mine is Super Black Clearcoat and the swirls on the hood/roof/trunk are hard to remove. I use a combination of Poorboys products (Super Swirl Remover 1, 2, 2.5) to keep them under control.

Thanks. It currently has a little over 87k miles.

The color of the paint hides imperfections okay. A pain to match touch up paint though.

I hear you on the horizontal surfaces. The hood and the trunk must have been to a body shop at one time since the hood is really orange peeled and blotchy. Also, the hard to remove swirls are there and on the trunk. I used PB SSR 2.5 for correcting and Ultima Paint Prep as the final polish.

Scratch Out was a piece of cake to use - just applied it in a circular motion like wax, which leaves a haze, then buff the haze off with a cotton cloth - left a real nice shine.

Then, wax on top of it. Only took me about 30 minutes max.

Thanks.

No, my house isn't pretty enough. It's the church I go to. I needed an empty parking lot where no one was going to stare at me.
