My buddy says his 2014 F150 STX tuxedo black crew cab with tow package 5.0 coyote is a race truck.

As the owner of a 2014 F150, with 5.0 V8, it is definitely not a race truck. It is reasonably quick for a pickup, but not quick in the overall vehicle world. Bought my wife a used Leaf this week, and drove it about 140 something kms to get it home. I floored it a few times, and my seat of the pants accelerometer has the Leaf quicker off the line, than my F150.
My '23 6.2 Silverado specs at 14.0 in 1/4 mile. Faster than my old '68 GTO that was 14.5 in the 1/4 mile.

Old cars really weren't quick, its just that old people didn't know what quick was. Also they equated tire spinning to mean their cars were powerful, but didn't know that the tires were actually just crap, and spun easily.
