I have a 03 Yukon with the 4L60 transmission. It has 53K miles on it. I bought 2 bottles of AutoRx and dumped 4 quarts of transmission fluid and replaced with Valvoline Dex III and put the Auto Rx in. I ran it longer than the directions said to. I did about 2300 miles. Then I dumped the pan and replaced the filter and refilled with Supertech Dex VI. It feels much better! There is more power to the ground. There is less heat when I open the hood. Before after running all day and coming home and popping the hood would be like opening an oven door. I always thought it was the big V8. But since I did the fluid change it feels much cooler. Still hot though. Since then I have done 3 drain and fills and have enough Super Tech to do 2 more. Then I will do the same drain and fills with Castrol Dex VI. I am still debating whether or not to do the flush? Opinions? I should only have about 7% of the old fluid when I am done with all the Supertech. I also just changed the oil and put the Auto Rx in with some Supertech 10W30.

unless you really killed your vehicle prior to doing this, I doub there was a huge need, and I also doubt that you are seeing the changes that are claimed.
No offense, Auto-RX is a great product and does wonderful things in a lot of situations, but nothing is a miracle product that is going to change friction, gravity and thermodynamics to the point where there is a huge change.
Seriously, 53k is barely broken in if you treat your vehicle right...
Id re-verify the significance and repeatability of your test examples...

I just bought the vehicle so I am unsure of the previous care. The fluid did not smell burnt and it looked fairly clean. I am not saying all the difference is due to the Auto Rx either. I do think stepping up from Dex III to Dex VI helped too. Along with the new filter. So there are a lot of variables that are different. However I am not the only one that noticed the difference in the Temp. I can't verify it however because I do not have a transmission temp gauge.
You cleaned your trans and feel more 'power to the ground'?
Same deal here....150K on original transmission fluid on my wife's Saab, burned to all heck. Added amount of ARX to the trans, moved to TX (1800 miles), drained, refilled with Castrol ATF, drove around town a month or so, drained and refilled again. Transmission is only getting better, used to shudder and slam into gear, now it's nice and smooth, even when it's 100+ degrees outside and sitting in traffic (that was when it was at it's worst). PS-- there is no filter on this transmission, so we just kept draining and refilling. Even if we would have gotten similar results with ONLY draining and refilling, I feel good enough to support ARX, a product that has worked well in the engines of 4 of our other cars with good visual and emissions results.
When I first bought my Millenia S, the 4-speed auto had some trouble with smooth upshifts and downshifts. I did several pan drains (amounting to better than 98% replacement) with SuperTech Dexron III followed by a pan drop and filter change. Shifting improved, but I still had issues with harsh upshifts and downshifts.
I drove it for about a year following all this and later added an external cooler. Performance steadily improved but never quite reached what I was hoping for.
I decided to do an ARX treatment on the transmission and switch to Dexron VI. About 300 miles into the ARX treatment, my jolt of a 1-2 upshift began to noticeably smooth out. Shifting seemed to improve across the board, then stabilize, then get slightly worse as I approached the 1,000 mile flush point. I now have 98% fluid replacement with Dexron VI. A month after the Dexron VI flush, shifting continues to improve. Harsh 1-2 upshift...gone. Harsh 3-2 downshift...gone.
The fluid appeared clean when the ARX was drained. The Dexron III was practically new to begin with. There was a dark tinge to it though. The bottom of the drain bucket had what looked like carbon granules that settled to the bottom of the drained ATF. Felt like sand. I didn't think that much solid material would come out...especially since I had recently performed a flush and pan drop before the treatment.
