Thursday morning my 29 year old White/Westinghouse Washing Machine died. The pump motor quit and was given Last Rights. Not fixing a 29 yrs old machine. It was a good one, never a failure till passing away.
Went shopping for a new one and purchased a GE/Haier 4.5 cu. ft model. It was priced reasonably considering the features. $578 ($220 off )+++ came to $750.00 Haul away and tax was over a $100. Delivery and hookup hoses were balance.
I think current inventory is reflecting some tariff influence.
Ran a load to make sure all was well. In standard run mode it had a 45 min cycle. It's not overburdened with features, the features it does have have multiple settings. It has 5 water temp settings at least. The large capacity will aid in washing the quilts my Mom and her quilting club made me over the years.
