Gf's Mustang (2007 4.0 V6). A/C started blowing warm. Her dad refilled it with coolant, and it blew cold for a couple of days, then started blowing warn again. He said he thinks the o-rings are leaking (where you refill the lines?). A/C work is a little over my head,as I've never messed with it before. Anyone here know what he's talking about, and it an easy "driveway fix"?

It could even be overfilled at this point.

Too many things....... could be as simple as needing a new orifice restrictor.

Grab a set of gauges and check the high and low pressures.

then check the schraeder valves with soap when you disconnect.

(Then I can teach you how to make your own refrigerants, change a drier, and refill all without expensive equipment)...assuming that it's empty. I don't advocate dumping HFC into the air.

Tnis is where it helps to have a UV flashlight in a dim garage. If he filled it with dye laden freon gas, there will be a green glow at the leaks Just went through this on my daughters Nissan. Had 4 bad o=rings. Pumped the system down and recharged it. She says it never worked as good as now.

Good call Shannow! I have a tech friend at a dealership here,he looked it over and said the shraeder valves are the problem. He's going to do the fix for me.
