Recently swapped my tow vehicle from a Supercharged Lincoln Navigator to a 7.3PSD Excursion. In the Navi I had been running Torco TR-1 20W50 Racing Oil and adding a 120z. bottle of Torco MPZ and a 120z. bottle of Torco Engine Assembly lube to an oil change. This was recommened on a forum to increase mileage by 15-30%. I can't vouch for the benefit. After browsing BITOG forums I had Amsoil 15W40 put in my Excursion. I have several bottles of MPZ left. My question is would there be any harm in adding the MPZ to the Amsloil?

Thanks for any advice.

I would say that adding the 12oz. of MPZ would not harm anything and may even improve the performance of your engine with the added moly, etc. But all bets are off should you have any problem with your engine and decide to try to take Amsoil to task for their oil. When that moly shows up in an analysis, they will know that something was added to the oil and of course they do not recommend this.
If you are not worried about this possibility, use the stuff up or save it to use in another oil/application that really needs some help.

"15 to 30% increase in gas mileage? Don't believe the internet experts."

Where is their proof? Do you even gain enough to pay for the MPZ?

If you have the additive, you could either send it to me free or just USE IT.
With a quality boutique oil, no additives are really needed.
Since you have some on the shelf, use a bottle at each OCI until you run out. No need to buy anymore.
