Yeah and off an AAA battery that will operate down to about 1.2 volts in my MP3. These headphones sound so good I stayed up an extra hour last night because I couldn't bear to take them off. Kept thinking, just one more song. Of course it's all Johnny Winter, 32 albums worth!

I recently bought a set of in-ear Skull Candy buds. I think they were $20 (?)

They have a lot of bass, but they also sound a bit "muddy" for my tastes.

Just like at the Wal-Mart oil aisle; some guy tried to tell me they were the best phones going. Yeah, right.....
