Anyone here using this? I don't know what it's all about? How do you download movies and play it on Windows Media Player?

Wasn't that the crappy service that allows you to view a digital copy of a movie that you'd purchase on a dvd or blueray, with some code inside the box ?

I’ve used it a time or two but for the digital codes I get with my DVD and Blu-Ray I usually use Vudo/Fandango At Home and since I never stream movies I’ve never really actually used either one except to redeem the codes so I don’t know how they work or anything I just know Fandango is easier to use as far as redeeming codes.

Fathers Day is coming and wanted to download cartoons or Disney movies for the grandkids in a family gathering.

Get yourself a one month subscribtion to Disney+ and call it a day. You'll have access to a lot of stuff, including most if not all Studio Ghibli movies. Don't bother with computers, if your TV has been done in the last 10 years by any brand that has been in business in the last 15 years - it will be smart enough to download the app.

I have a Moviesanywhere account. For me, it allows me to watch movies I've purchased from just about any online source, all in one place. I never ever use it. :ROFLMAO:

It's a merger of what used to be different sites. It was originally Disney Movies Anywhere, so that kind of gives a hint of how they started out. DisneyMoviesAnywhere.com just redirects to MoviesAnywhere.com now. I think the other studios were using Ultraviolet, which included at least Universal Home Video. OK - also Sony and Warner.

If you've got physical media with a code, it can be entered on their site. And it might even take older ones if they haven't been redeemed. There was also once where I got a bunch of bonus movies that I can stream or download. And it's possible to buy movies.

I've got a whole bunch of different movies where I got a physical copy, and quite a few I'm not even quite sure how it all works other than it does. I've got it linked with AppleTV+ where I don't need an active subscription to watch movies I've purchased and linked. And it's actually using a different email address for my Apple ID than I used for MoviesAnywhere. Also Amazon Prime video, even without an active Prime subscription. I'm pretty sure I linked it years ago and it somehow works. The movies in my library all show up as "You purchased this".

Not sure what happens if someone purchases through Amazon and has a linked MoviesAnywhere account. OK - looked up how to link via different services.
