I asked this question in the import forum and I think it’s better asked here. Has motul power sports stopped putting QR codes on the labels? I just ordered a 4L jug mfg date October 2021. No QR code.

where did you order it from. could it be fake?

I ordered from an authorized retailer. Sportbike track gear. They are listed on motul’s website as a dealer. It’s the 300v, I’m not sure if they ever put it on that product. It’s the first time I bought it.

No QR codes if it was sold by the case as far as I’m aware. I would not worry about it. 300v would be really hard to counterfeit considering it’s translucent green.

I bought it from a reputable retailer. I was more or less curious. If I had ordered from some unknown vendor on eBay or Amazon I would be concerned.

I got a reply from Motul today. They are not putting a QR code on 300V.
