What are yalls thoughts on Motul 8100 Eco-Energy oils? I know it's SL rated but in general what's kind of OCIs would it be good for. Also, what are your thoughts on it's cleaning capabilities?

They are good quality oils. Very good for cleaning due to the inherent nature of the type of lube it is. OCI depends on too many factors so I can't answer that one for you. It should serve you well through 7.5k+ based on UOA's.
Thanks, just not familiar with their oils. The Chrysler dealer sells it in the parts department and was curious about it. On the OCIs I was wondering if it was capable of longer I intervals like PU, Amsoil, and M1 EP if conditions were right.
Click here for my results on it. The OCI recommended by Subaru for my car is 3,750 miles and it looks like the Eco-nergy held up well in my 6k oci. Was the thumbs down emoticon a mistake?
