Previous thread here for where I asked questions: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/oil-recc-19-stinger-3-3tt-with-track-time.351806/

Based on track-shop's advice and not great inventory of other oils, I decided to try Motul 5W40 Sport (got a pretty good deal on Amazon). Here's the analysis of a fresh sample:

And here's the "1 track day + ~1500 miles" sample:

Seems like there's no issue running to ~5K miles and doing 1-2 track days? No signs of over-heating? I pushed it pretty hard at Laguna Seca - oil temps were hitting ~275F based on the dash oil-temp gauge (it's a digital bar with graduations at 200, 250 and 300, so hard to get a great "peak" value).

Looks good. At 275f your timing is already pulled back.
Consider improving your cooling management.
Does Stinger have a radiator-type oil cooler or heat exchanger?

I believe it has a small radiator-type oil cooler.

275F is an "upper range" guess, since Kia doesn't provide a way to read oil temp over the OBD2 protocol, just a dash-gauge with a "range" with 250 and 300 marked off and me trying to glance at it as I am running on the track. I'm usually running 96+ octane to help keeps temp down.

I have an upgraded transmission cooler + AMS Signature Trans oil.
