Motul 5w40 ~3750 miles + 1 track day, Kia Stinger

Final of 3 reports for this oil fill. Kia Stinger, 1 track day, then ~3750 miles city/highway driving with approx 6-6.5 months total oil duty cycle. Changed the oil, although reports indicate 6k miles would be fine, so I may extend a bit next time.

I'd contact Blackstone and ask them to run the sample again. The additive numbers look lower than where they're supposed to be.

Those are really nice cars! I wouldn't do an extended oil change interval on it. What does Kia recommend for severe service?

I think severe service is 3000 miles / 6 months. I did the change because I was just over 6 months.

Zinc and Phos are all over the map.
Virgin: 800/707
1500: 904/775
3750: 762/671

There should not be that much variance. Calcium and magnesium look a bit "off" too.

Thanks. I sent them an email asking about it. I sent both the virgin and 1500 sample in the same package. Is it possible they swapped the values?

Doesn't seem likely, given the flashpoint went down.
