Motul 300V 5w-40 vs. Motul 300V 10w40?

Is there a reason to chose the 10w-40 formulation over the 5w-40 formulation? It seems a bit confusing cause the 5w-40 has an HT/HS of 4.51 and the 10w-40 has an HT/HS of 4.19. Usually its the other way around.

This is for a high HP turbocharged application. I just didnt know what the 10w-40 offers that the 5w-40 does not?

I called Motuls tech support and they could not explain why the 5w had the higher HT/HS.
 
I thought the 5W40 was the biodegradable verison of the 300V. The 5W40 has shown some nice UOAs so I'd be going with that!
 
Right off the bottle numbers often don't mean much in real world applications.
The 10W40 is more robust and it will hold its viscosity longer.
