I'm thinking of trying Motormax cooling additive in my Mazda6 and would like to know if anyone has had any luck with it.It's gotten a good write up on it and the claims for cooler temps.have been verified by the reviewer.

I am using it in a couple of vehicles, but have not tried to test it with any gauges or timers. I live in a cool climate and make short trips, and the engines seem to warm up quickly with Motormax, which hopefully cuts down on moisture in the engine.

I like the fact that it is not made with toxic chemicals, but the price seems a little high.

I saw it on one of the web sites for 21.95,no shipping fees. I live in FL and feel it might have the biggest benefit for my car in the hot weather. I've done quite a few searches on this product and there doesn't seem to be a lot of info.on it. Is your car new?

I am curious how well it's worked for you. I ordered a bottle of it about a week ago and want to see how it performs in the Florida heat.

I have been happy with Motormax. I intend to continue using it.

Did you have to drain out some of your rad. or did you just pour it in? Did you also notice cooler engine and A/C Temps?

Living in a place where it gets to -30 degrees, I have to keep a 50/50 antifreeze mixture, so I drained out 2 quarts, and put in 1 quart of Motormax and 1 quart of antifreeze. I maninly use Motormax for the quicker warmups in the winter, but I did drive through some 111 degree weather up here 2 summers ago, and the car did fine. So I guess I do like the feeling of added protection from overheating, too. I also like the idea that it protects against hot spots inside the engine.

Thanks for the info. What kind of car did you put it in? I have an 04 Mazda6 and at first a little hesitant on using it because i thought it might clog up the radiator or was just another snake oil.
