When i plan to let the Scirocco sits for any amount of time I run the tank to half full, add one full bottle of red StaBil and one full bottle of Redline SI1, then fill the tank to the brim.
Stabil for me and a shot of Lucas fuel treatment, about the only thing other than their power steering fluid treatment which is worth anything. The Lucas keeps my floats from hanging up when the bowls have been dry all winter. Also makes the petcock action nice and smooth.

I ride my bike everyday but have gone as long as ten weeks without using my truck back in the day. I used tcw-3 at this same ratio and it had no trouble starting right up.
I now drive the truck a few times a month just to keep things working.
I use TCW-3 in that ratio in everything I own. I store my snowblower all spring/summer/winter (much longer than just a winter storage) with just that in the tank and it fires right up every first snowfall. My mower starts right up every spring with just that as well. I stopped using stabil years ago. TCW-3 has a fuel stabilizer in it, and makes it even better with the lubricating oil on top of it.
