I was looking at oil filters today at my local Walmart. While comparing the FL-400S to the FL-910S, i noticed the 400 is somewhat longer. Aside from that they appear identical. Are there any internal differences? Which one do i want for my 2.3 DOHC 2007 Ranger?

when crossing the 2 filters to wix the only difference I see is the length and a slightly better beta ratio.

I'm certainly no oil filter expert but there were two Motorcraft experts on this site who posted tables and charts back a few years that I'm sure an engineering class would have been proud of.
Search using Motorcraft oil filter back at least four years and when you find it, you will learn more than you can imagine about why your Ford product will be well served by the MC filter.
