Has anyone else used the new Motorcraft filter? except for the one I read about I believe it was a Ford mustang.. I wonder if it's the same thing, has an AC Delco, or a Champ luber finer filter.

That is the Champ labs alternative for the Purolator/Mann-Hummel made FL-500S. The FL-500S is still very much available. I received 192 today.
I believe that's only until supplies run out... But anyways I was just curious.
Nope, still readily available. The alternate numbers were when Purolator was at production capacity so another vendor was brought on board to help with supply. They had different numbers because people on sites like this would go apoplectic that one filter looked different than the other but had the same number.
