Motorcraft FL-910-s failure

If it's not adhered to the glue and just pops off, I don't see how it's any different than a leaky Fram bypass. The oil all over the glue seems telling.

I'm not clever enough to figure out how to do a flashlight test on one of those but I don't have a popper anyway.

Anything's possible I suppose. The ones I've had pop off I've not checked for oil so that'll be next.

No peeling glue ?

I don't see any glue except in the caps. I posted these week ago and asked if they were from another manufacturer. The fl910 filters posted months ago had raised dimples on end caps. These are smooth on both caps.
