Motorcraft FL-400 How to they compare?

I just took over my wifes' 2001 Ford Escape. It uses the Motorcraft FL-400. I picked up one at Wal-mart since thy had them there. How do these compare with Purolator, Classic and Pure-one. I know they are made by Purolator but where do they rank compared to the two?

Motorcraft is a good filter i like them as much as purolator plus i also like the pureone but i lean toward motorcraft in the winter because i believe the flow is better than the pure one ( that is just my opinion)

IMO Motorcraft are a slightly upgraded Purolator. Use it for your Ford engines and a reasonable OCI'S and you will be fine.
