My take is that $3 for Walmart brand GRIII oil is high. For just a bit more you can get Schaeffer's or about $4 for Mobil 1 on special, and both probably offer a better additive package for better engine protection and longer drain interval to make up the cost difference. It seems to me that everything with a Walmart brand is the lowest of low bids.
