Motorcraft 5-20 Full Synthetic?

At the local Ford dealer the other day, I saw an oil change chart on the wall. It said use something or other for a "Good" oil change; MC 5w-20 Synthetic Blend for "Better" oil change; and MC 5w-20 Full Synthetic for "Best" oil change. I was in a hurry, so I didn't have a chance to ask the Svc. Mgr. if they had any 5-20 Full Syn.

I've never seen any, and was wondering if anyone here had.

According to this site http://www.motorcraft.com/products.do?item=15 it's available. It's not listed at the top, under "Oils", but they do show it about 2/3 down the page, along with 5-30 Full Syn.

All the Ford dealers have it down here in the jungle. I've been using it for awhile now. All the Panthers in my fleet are using it.

The local dealer here uses it too. Almost two years ago, I took my car in to get the first "free" oil change after buying the car and I asked them how much for their synthetic service. After he told me $80., I kindly took my free oil change and have serviced it with sale synthetic ever since.

Motorcraft fully admits that their Synblend is hydrocracked, and I really appreciate that.

Not really, it's just not a true synthetic.

Hydrocracking's good. It's what has made conventional oils closer to synthetics.

I've seen full synthetic Motorcraft at Murrays Auto Parts for years.
But only in 5-30.
I use MC blend, 5-20.

My dealer carries the MotorCraft Full Synthetic for $8.00 a quart! I told them to continue using the Semi-Syn!

Ive been trying to find a place to order it online forever. I can only find 5w50, which I doubt my four banger Ranger would like.

The blend works so well for me that the Full Synthetic just makes sense.

forget the name of the person on here who swears up and down he has used Mobil 1 15W50 in all of his vehicles, and immediate family vehicles he services for years. Including 4 bangers and no ill effects and always exceeds epa ratings. so.......

the 5w50 is only supposed to be used in the GT supercar and the GT500. you can get the Full Synthetic at any ford dealer or WalMart. if the dealer says they cant get it, they are full of it. i sell plenty of it all day long.
