Motor oil research sources.

Hi, I am doing a research paper on motor oils for a college tribology class and I'm wondering if you guys can point me to some good sources of information on oils and how they work. I will be focussing on the differences between synthetic and standard oils. Specifically sources covering current developments and future of the industry would be helpful. There must be some industry and scientific journals out there. can anybody list them? thanks
