This video made me laugh, because I live in Woodstown and grew up in Salem county and most of the descriptions are hyperbole. Regardless it’s a fun video and does show NJ’s more rural parts. Warren and Sussex counties are where my wife was raised and it’s beautiful up there. I am familiar with all but 2 of the locations mentioned and can honestly say if this state was more affordable it would be great place to retire.

I lived nearly 10 years in Warren County, which was then a long way from the stereotype of Jersey. Good memories, mostly.

I was born in NJ, raised in NJ(Essex County), graduated the NJSP Academy and was a NJ cop and collected a paycheck from the State of NJ and currently own a beach house in Cape May County. The state is so diverse...both in demographics and environments. Southeast of say Cherry Hill area, you would think you're in a completely different state...hundreds of miles south.
But it's all good.

Moved to Cherry Hill when I was 11 in '73. You're spot on when you say So. Jersey is different.
The video highlights Bass River and areas around it. These are beautiful places. Spend my summers, close by,
in Mystic Island.

People laugh when they hear Garden State. But I have been through the NJ countryside and it is indeed beautiful.

I visit Atlantic City a several times a year. Every time on Rt40 between the Delaware Memorial Bridge and AC, and yes expecting that area in general to be featured in this video.

Grew up in Union county. Lived in Montague, Sussex county for 27 years, the next town north of Sandyston. Great small town atmosphere at first but Covid hit and the city came to town so now I'm in the NYS ADK's. I've never been a fan of south Jersey, AKA down the shore.

Never lived in Jersey but did a lot of work there. From Cherry Hill to Bayonne and Oak Ridge, its a wildly different environment from end to end and side to side.

Grew up in Burlington County, now in Camden county. All of those areas on the video I'm familiar with.

I grew up in the East side of Cherry Hill which was mostly middle class suburbia and my buddy Greg from high school who lived in Atco said if you don't drive a pick up truck they know you're from out of town.
