We have the Mojave green rattlesnake. It has 2 types of venom to kill you with. I have never seen one on my property.... Does not mean they didn't see me though.

Minnesota and Wisconsin too when you consider motorcycle strikes and car strikes.....In Montana Moose and Elk pose a far greater threat to most people than Grizzlies....I have been in Montana all my life and have spent a great deal of time in the wild over the last 66 years of my life and can count on one hand the number of Grizzlies I have encountered, well actually on one finger if talking outside of GNP or YSP..I did hit a black bear in our new at the time mazda cx5 a couple of years ago.....it sucked....

We had a young lady get kicked in the head by a deer on our university campus several years ago that caused serious head injury...and I had a friend get stomped by a moose while walking her dogs..she was in bad shape but survived...

I am surprised with the black bear. They are usually very timid UNLESS you mess with a mother bear and her cubs.

I heard a Mountain Lion killing a deer behind our house a few months ago. It was pretty awful to hear.

That map can’t be accurate. Here in Michigan, I guarantee there are orders of magnitude more deaths from deer than from black bears. I would venture as far as to say that vehicle related accidents from animals account for more deaths across every state compared to wildlife attacks.

Gators seldom attack people unless provoked. I have heard of a couple alligator deaths by people walking there dogs and trying to defend the dog, and I know of a specific example of someone loosing an arm trying to retrieve a golf ball - all these fairly recent - last few years. I also know of several people that spend all kinds of time fishing in alligator infested waters and have have never been threatened by a gator.

Now water moccasins I fear. Can't see them.

I'd say that (for Missouri) that chart is correct. Deer-vehicle encounters are quite dangerous. Especially with motorcycles.
