In my previous thread you guys said that Rotella 15w40 would be good for break in. Well, I just went out in the garage and discovered that I have enough Delo 15w40 to do my first oil change (new fomula, approx 9 months old). Will this work just as well? The oil will only be in for 550 miles.

Now I see that Delo isn't C4 rated anymore. Screw it I will just go buy a jug of the new Rotella.
WOW! New Rotella triple protection looks like it's not Allison C4 rated anymore as well. My guess is that moly is to blame?
Just put the Delo in Gilitar so that we can all find out if the small amount of Moly is going to affect the clutch (I think not) Personally I like the added protection it gives. Do it for your fellow man. I've bought 60 litres and I can't wait to try it but I've only just put in Delo Gold multigrade (which is C4 rated) and at $7 a litre, I'm not about to dump it.
