My Chevys seem to be on nitrous when the wheel is turned a bit. But going straight ahead is just normal.

Do differentials couple power more effectively when making turns or going around a curve?

What you feel is the momentum of the vehicle changing direction, that power minus what you feel as 'normal' is the amount of power lost to the turn.

At least we know who the culprit is

Well the OP's name could be pronounced I'm Joking
and he seems to be on drugs lately.

So who knows why these odd posts.

Right but nothing he says is particularly funny, just odd. Don't mention buying anything online and paying shipping or he'll really get wound up.

The mechanical answer to this is, no, they don't. If anything, you're losing power due to friction inside the differential when the wheels turn at different speeds. Going straight ahead, and assuming a dry road, the ring gear spins the differential housing and both drive axles turn at the same speed. In a turn, the outer drive axle spins faster than the inner drive axle, and the spider gears inside the differential housing will turn to allow that to happen. Meanwhile, the entire differential housing continues to spin at the same speed (assuming a steady engine speed, etc).

An oldie, but a goodie:
