2024 Jeep Wrangler 15,300 miles likely 1500 miles on oil/filter. Bought the Jeep with 13,900 miles. It was bought new and serviced at the dealer it was traded back in to.

Mopar MO-349, nothing to see, pleats have slight waves, the joint is tight and uniform. Not a speck of anything in the pleats anywhere. Another MO-349 & Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 back in for 5K OCIs.

Looks great!

The most well built and strongest media I´ve ever encountered was in the Fram Ultra. It had some kind of nylon or monofilament backing (probably still does) and it took two pairs of pliars to pull it apart. That thing would have withstood incredible pressure, way beyond what any Pentastar could ever produce. There´s an old thread I started years ago with pics of it. Incredible. But those Frams always did the Chubby Checker Twist, though! LOL.

The last Mopar I just pulled out of my 2018 Wrangler had no twist at all. That´s a first. Every filter from Fram (all 3 levels), SuperTech, Mobil 1, K&N, and Mopar, that has run in that engine has had at least some level of twist. It´s no big deal, though. No harm in it. The filters all held together just fine. Fram produced the lowest insolubles on UOA´s, consistently, though.

I´m running STP or Carquest pro now. We´ll see if they twist, but they have efficiency numbers like the Fram Ultra. I think I have an old used one laying around that I can check. If not, I´ll photograph the next one I pull.

I´ll post a pic of that last Mopar later.

I’ve been using those filters on my Mopars for many years. They can be found on eBay for around $6 - 7$ apiece if purchased in packs of 3 or more.
You can get the CarQuest for about $7 when Advance Auto Parts has their 15 or 20 percent discount with $35 purchase. They run that deal online now and then. It has a little better efficiency than the Mopar for about that same price or close.

$50 is the new $35 with AAP for their 15% discount threshold.
