I was in 2 different Wal-Marts today, and both of them now carry a limited selection of Mopar oil filters. They appear to be Purolator clones, but I can't be sure. Good quality filters, if their external appearance is any indication.

I have seen them in several Wal-marts in my area as well. I think they have been in the local ones here about 3-4 months. The most popular one (M0-090?) is $4.97.

Well, I think that they're Purolator clones of MotorCraft oil filters. If you look on the base plate on the MC filters you'll see 3 (some holes) 4 (some holes) 16 (more holes) for 3/4-16 filters. My PureOne doesn't have this ..but all the MC filters that I have, do.

FWIW

they are also stocking mopar brand atf+4 transmission fluid.

Along with Valvoline and Super Tech ATF+4 (with the ST being about 1/2 the price of Mopar).
I used the ST for changing my power steering, but I will probably use the Valvoline for the transmission itself (although the Mopar is almost 1/2 of what the dealer charged).
