Always been a big model Train fan. Got the Grandson a set for Christmas about ten years ago. When I worked at Boeing at one time their Model Train Club had a huge layout down in Georgetown (South Seattle) now Chop!

If you're ever near Bryson City NC, there is a fairly good sized model train museum up there. Or at least there was pre-covid. Hopefully it is still there.

I nicest model train museum I have seen is near me inside an old train depot dating back around 1860. It is owned by a train club who open up several times a year, charging a nominal fee for enthusiates to see the models inside. The caboose is also open at that time.
