I have a mocamaster with a regular carafe that was given to us. I doubted that it could be any better than our basic Mr coffee so I made coffee in both at the same time and did a taste test, and we both agreed the coffee was better. It takes up more room on the counter which I hate, but hey, better coffee is better.

The thermal carafe would keep the coffee hot without burning it, which would be nice because we don’t get out of bed at the same time.

Wow $200 is a steal. I just searched my email inbox and I bought my moccamaster in jan 2018 from bed bath and beyond for $300 minus 20% from a coupon for $240 total. I'm surprised the full price of these isn't $400+ now with most prices being 50% higher now than prepandemic.

I had no idea what this was, but after tons of research it seems pretty dang awesome! Unfortunately my coffee counter has a keurig for those days I’m in a hurry and a bunn for when I’m not. I spend 70 days plus a year drinking Hilton and Marriott coffee, so both of my home setups are better than what I’m usually drinking. But I do have a well and all the softening and filtration and descaling causes my coffee makers an early death.
