Add a box to your cart even though it's the $43 price. Then take it back out by clicking "save for later." If there's anything in 'saved for later' that changes price since the last visit it will tell you.
It seems to be dropping to the $23 price a couple times per day at odd hours like early morning like it just did this morning for a few hours and then goes back up.
You can also get email notifications if you watch this thread. I've updated here when I've seen it drop a few times now.

Our Toyota takes 5.5-6 quarts. Having singles on the shelf will make it less annoying. Full jug, then top off from a quart.

There's nothing more annoying than needing 6q to do a change and having to buy a 5q and single to get'r dun. I miss the days when Costco sold 6q boxes of M1 at this same price.

The only thing more annoying than having to open two bottles is having to open six and being stingy, letting every last one of them drip on the funnel. I remember popping seals on Quaker State GTX with my dad, one quart at a time with NASCAR on the radio on hot afternoons. He'd buy it when it was on sale by the case, back when 1 qt singles was about the only way oil came. While they drain you check the air filter, inspect tires, adjust air pressures, fill washer fluid, update your record book, etc. No thanks. Here's the 5w20 for the same price. Not the Euro spec since I don't think ACEA does it in 5w20, but cheap oil anyway.

And hopefully it goes back down after Nov 5 when the right MAN gets back into office it is a good deal and i ordered six quarts this morning. cheaper per quart than the normal walmart price of 59 bucks for a 12 quart bag in a box which already struck me as a decent deal.
Deal has cycled off again. Was up for most of the day yesterday. Thanks for the heads-up. We shall see if they find more inventory...
