Turns out that if online chat refuses to refund the difference (or they do and then you get a "will not honor" email two days later) and you return it to the store, they put it on the clearance isle priced at $12.47 a jug two days later.

So 15% off.

Someone else in town grabbed it. Good for them. My rebate allotment for the 1-gal size is getting used on ESP.

$7.47 a gallon is a great deal, but not for an oil I don't have use for and wind up selling.
