Mobil Delvac 1300 Super blend 10w30, 3gal for $14.98 walmart.com

Given Wal-mart will easily take back the single unit for full refund, and even have Fed-Ex pick it up, not sure the need for the wal-mart hate.

Over the last few years I have gotten two of the 3 for 1 deals from Walmart (15 jugs for the price of 5) I have now also struck out 3 times. Twice they asked for return, and once they told me to keep it - so even on the ones that were wrong I got one free jug of oil and had to return 2.

Of all the retailers running games, I think Wal-mart seems to be pretty fair.

Price now appears on my laptop at $31.99.

Not sure why the price changed, but a three pack is now at $31.99, which equals $2.67 per quart, still a favorable price for those that need specific ratings this oil offers.
Mostly because multiple sellers. When quantity of 14.99 Walmart goes to zero, price kicks up to other offerings. $20.99 jegs and $31.99 speedway racing.

If indeed the $31.99 shows up as a case, yes that’s still a good deal.

It seems most are receiving single jugs instead of the 3 pack. I ordered two 3-packs and received 2 gallons.
With $5 off rebate, I'm debating on keeping it anyway but I dont need as much 10w30 oil as currently have.
Yeah. Mine arrives on Wed, and it is looking like 2 jugs.

Still says "3 gal" under description and -3 in the part number.
Seems like clearly it's a mistake and this won't work for 95% of people. The OP reporting it worked for him was potentially the worst thing that could have happened as it gives people false hope. I don't think too many people or maybe anyone besides him and possibly one other got a 3 pack. The best you can probably get out of it is a free jug or two if you contact customer service and they refund and let you keep it.

Chat was unwilling to work with me whatsoever. Currently I am expected to print a label and put on received Wal Mart packet, which I am unable to do. Spent 45 minutes on chat. I asked for the six missing gallons, Wal Mart chat refused.

Lesson learned, sometimes we are the bug, sometimes we are the windshield. FedEx will return to pick up the package, but package will not be labeled, so I assume no action will take place
This is why I call these 3 pack description mistakes The Dance of the Tards. I've been the tard a few times myself, experiencing exactly this. A dumb dance with customer service. Sometimes getting a refund. Sometimes being forced to return the product.

Some people get mad that I say this and falsely accuse me of being jealous that others got a deal or free oil and not me. Notice I don't call any other BITOG deals the Dance of the Tards except Walmart 3 pack description mistakes, and I've only dubbed it this being the frustrated dancer myself. Hopefully others learn from it like you did, and if it takes them getting annoyed at me for my Dance title, I can accept the criticism in the hope that I save some people a future hassle.

It isn't just Walmart. Amazon Maxlife 6 count 2pk was brought to their attention over a month ago.

maxlife: six, two, or twelve?

If retailers want to tout great deals but can't differentiate between a great deal and pricing error, how is avg joe shopper to differentiate?

For whatever reason, Walmart does this a couple times a year and has been doing it for quite a few years. I have seen it so many times, it's like a broken record at this point.

You do see it here and there on amazon. I'll admit, this indeed looks like 12 qts, but I doubt anyone would receive that.

Ditto I've seen random Dorman parts in clearance like thermostat housings or oil coolers etc. Very specific auto tech parts I don't think their service center would attempt
Walmart needs to do something similar to "Amazon Warehouse." AW let me have "used" brake shoes for $4 shipped.

My last, 3rd, order I received one gal. Called wallymart and the guy admitted I should have gotten the 3 pack but said they were sold out. So instead he sent me 1 additional gallon, so I got 2 in total, not bad. He said that was all he could do and I was happy with the 2 gallons for $15 buck.

This does look like 12qts, did you try and order it?
Their line is that it's a two of the bottles that come in a six pack case. I don't know why they don't just change it to say "Two, 1qt Bottles." The CS agents in whatever foreign land seem to think it makes perfect sense. Rufus seems to think you'll get two packs of three, for a total of six.

I played the game and ultimately argued a few free quarts. I wouldn't have jumped but about a year ago there was a listing error deal on a different Valvoline ATF, case quantity of quarts.

Turns out that if online chat refuses to refund the difference (or they do and then you get a "will not honor" email two days later) and you return it to the store, they put it on the clearance isle priced at $12.47 a jug two days later.

So 15% off.
