great oil, i use it in our honda's in the 5w20 flavor
Usually priced higher than Exxon Superflo which most people believe is exactly the same oil.

So what? His engine is a oil burner that needs HDEO to stop it. And this is Mobil's problem? I wouldn't call Mobil 5000 junk because his engine has an appetite for oil. Now if he UOA'd it at 5000 miles and the results that came back were horrible, then I would say it was junk.

99 : do a search on DRIVE CLEAN and see for yourself all the complaints about high oil consumption using this junk . Chevron - Havoline engine oils are so superior to anything Mobil has to offer its like comparing a Rolex to a Timex. Also read SANDS post comparing these two oils.
LT4 Vette you have to stop useing this UOA as a reference, that toyota V8 will show a great UOA no matter what oil is used-- even Mobil.
Hmmm A UOA showing great results using Mobil is blown off because the engine always puts up great numbers even with Mobil, yet I see no bad UOA's posted to show that Mobil 5000 is junk.

People with a brand-bashing agenda need to get a grip before they go off. There are products that I like in every brand, and I'll always question someone's intentions who bash with a bias.
