Mobil 7500 SM 5w-30 / 10w-30 with Particle Count

Mobil has some group 2 and group 3. With 51% group 3 it can be called a group 3. It needs at least 10 and a half percent synthetic to be called a synthetic blend. ( about 15% pao in mobil ) I have spoken with chemists at mobil many times. They Have told me many of the additives are in the oil only for classifacation purposes. IT IS THAT GOOD.

meaning the film strenght is so strong the antwear additives may not make much difference.

Quaker State is a brand name owned by one of the world's biggest oil companies, Royal Dutch/Shell.

Mobil 7500 might be some Gr I for cost and solvency reasons, Gr II for bulk and quality, and Gr III for quality and cost. If it was really Gr III & IV, it would cost more and be good for more miles. Schaeffer's conventional oil, not even their blend, is good for more than 7500.

I have 4 changes worth of C7500 that I got on sale $1.75/q for my wife's '98 CRV automatic. I'll go with 4 month/5000-6000 changes and feel quite comfortable. From a consumer standpoint, someone who is very selective about cost/effective oils, C7500 offers a lot. Guaranteed mileage warranty, guaranteed PAO blend and likely G-III (solvent dewaxed) base with a modernized add pack that's ~tweaked~ for the semi-synthetic oil content.

For general use, it allows someone to extend their ocis out past 3000 miles (possibly for the first time) making a true 5000 miles oil a reality for general public.
