Anyone here using Mobil 5000 in their Jeep 4.0? I'm not asking about Havoline or GrpIII base stocks or whatever. Mobil 5000 10W30 people.

This is the internet! People are foolish for believing anything written here by strangers with no names as being gospel & the same will happen to your engine. What's to stop me from sending a 3K Mobil-1 UOA to Blackstone & telling them I had it in my engine for 13K - then doing a printout here?

Don't copy from no-names on this site! Also... dont keep any dino in your engine for anything near 13K. I'd hate to see what the inside of that engine looks like after doing even three 13K OCs with Havoline dino or any other.

I was all set to buy online here from one of the dealers until I read a salesman's personal UOA. It was highly extended miles for a semi-syn (around 9K) & showed so little wear that it stopped me from making the purchase due to disbelief.

"Some people you just cant reach"

When you talk gibberish, making no sense whatsoever, arguing for arguments sake, what do you expect?

Go chase windmills somewhere else
LOL

Triple-se7en : excellent advice , i would never recommend that long of a drain . I saw the UOA that you are speaking about and was very doubtful of those results. What engine lubricants do you use in your own vechicles, you have great wisdom my friend.

Earlier you wrote "Look at the UOA on the 5.3 chevy that went 13000+ miles on HAVOLINE , Mobil 1 synthetic could never protect that well"

Then you just wrote "I saw the UOA that you are speaking about and was very doubtful of those results".

Case closed. Good night now
