I've had this car for a year. It's got about 24K miles on it now. Runs great. Performed UOA to check vitals, establish a baseline, and determine whether I could go another year on the oil. Used SPEEDiagnostix for the lab work.

Feels like a good report. Will run it another year and see what it looks like. Thoughts?

FWIW, Lake Speed Jr. tells me that I can run the oil another 2500-3000 miles. He didn't mention a time limit. I wish I knew what he was looking at to determine that. Ultimately it is fine, I've been running 1yr/5000mi OCIs and the goal was to move to 2yr/5000mi OCIs, which I guess this will achieve.

Great looking Vette! I like that body style much more than the C7 or C8.
Totally agree, these don't get enough love. The C4 ZR-1, in particular, is an amazing car with an amazing story. The C7 and C8 are just not going to age well, IMHO. Too angry, too many angles, some awkward proportions. They drive great, of course.

2yr/5000mi OCI.
That is what I would do for now. Once you start tracking the car, no.

Not yet, but it is too good not to eventually get on track at some point.
The reason I am asking is I notice this car has the front wheel very far away from the driver. This is much like the Jaguar E Type, Nissan 240z, Toyota Soarer, Mercedes 300 SL etc, Long hood F-R GT cars. I wonder what is the cornering feeling like compared to most other cars where the front wheels are closer to the driver.

I haven't felt it on track, but it definitely steers differently than, say, my NSX. It's very noticeable and even a bit of an odd sensation.
