Mobil 1 Lube Express..... In Canada????!!!

So, I was in Windsor for the last two days on a work-related trip, and while driving, I encountered a Mobil 1 Lube Express:

I've never seen one of these before in Canada. Ever. Are they common in the US?

Thought it was pretty cool!

Never seen one either. First time. Do they *only* use M1 I wonder?

We have them in the US but they are not very common. It looks like they are available to several areas of Canada and that it is kind of like a Mobil Gas Station where the oil products are all Mobil http://www.mobil.com/Canada-English-LCW/where-to-buy_mobil-1-lube-express.aspx. It might be a good place to get a Mobil or Mobil 1 oil change in Canada but I don't know.

So, there are 21 of them in Canada total, and of the 21, only 4 in Ontario, LOL!!! Explains why I've never seen one until now. Burlington, Sarnia, Toronto and Windsor.

Wonder if any of the guys on here from these places have ever been? Would be neat to see how the prices are.

There's one about 30 mi from me in Ithaca, NY USA. I surprised they aren't branded 'Esso' in Canada of some sort.

I stopped at Mobil earlier to get gas and asked how much for a oil change there..They said 65 bucks for Mobil 1 and 33 bucks for Dino...Spoke to a customer getting his Expedition done and he said they do not try to upsell you anything...At least at that Mobil 1 Express in Broward County...Sounds good to me.

It is very hard to find a decent place to have the oil changed down here [and quickly] as 99% of the garages are out to rip you off Big Time.

I have dealt with Mobil stations on and off in the past for oil changes and never had a issue with them trying to upsell me anything or try to rip me off...I have always left a happy camper.

If I did not have a honest independent I would go to Mobil 1 Express for my oil changes.

I would try one of these in a heartbeat if they were any closer - Mobil bulk dino is good stuff!

I hope this business of theirs is expanding, and we'll see some closer to Ottawa at some point. I'm not sure how successful they'd be, as the market here is pretty darn saturated....

One opened here a few months ago. I like it in that they situated it right in the same that there is already a mix of several shops, both good and bad. If nothing else, it takes business away from the shadier ones; the good ones will be unaffected as they have an established repeat business based on reasonable prices and honest, competent work.
