My WalMarts is restocking Mobil 1 in quarts and some 5Q containers. Price for the standard Mobil 1 is $26, PP is #23/5Q and Valvoline SynPower is $19/5Q.
Maybe since Valvoline is 5X better Mobil One had to do something about it. Maybe they changed the formula so Mobil One is now 10X better than Valvoline...hehe.
The last time I tried it, it tripled the consumption in my daughter's vehicle. Platinum consumes less - plus it's a better buy for those using it for 7-8K OCIs.
My local Wal-Mart restocked on M1 last week as well.
Too bad I've made the switch to PP in the meantime and have no intention of going back...that is until PP decides to downgrade it's formula after building a good rep.

Same here,
In fact I'm thinkin of even goin with motorcraft 5w20 semi-syn next for my ford. I've heard only good things about it from all of you and it's only $12.50 (I think)for 5qt jug!
My local WM has plenty of M1 of all grades except 0W30. The prices of PP and Synpower in 5 quart jug are $19($3.8/qt) and $23($4.6/qt) respectively, but the quart bottle are $5.22 and $4.01.
