Mobil 1 HM no longer synthetic?

On the new Mobil 1 website, they list the warranties for their different grades of oil.

Super Conventional = 5,000 miles
Super High Mileage = 5,000 miles
Super Synthetic = 7,500 miles

I know the old Mobil 1 HM formulation was considered synthetic. Not the new?

Yes, it says so right on the bottle; I just changed the oil in my 97 Accord with the Super HM 5W30.

The 'Super' line of Mobil products are NOT Mobil-1 products.
ALL Mobil-1 products are synthetic.

Please note the names on Mobil bottle/jug: Mobil 1, Mobil Super ... Nowhere on the bottle/jug is "Mobil 1 Super". As stated above, Mobil 1 is synthetic.

Does M1 have Supersyn or the Super syn have Supersyn?

From the website it appears M1 has Supersyn, but the Super Syn does not.

All we need now is Oldsmobile to come along and put "Cutlass" on the bottle.

Thanks for the clarification. I think Mobil had a good brand with their "Clean" conventional oils, but it sounds like they have abandoned "Clean" for "Super." But then the Super line has both conventional and synthetic, which is different than their Mobil 1 synthetic. Confusing, to say the least.

I already saw the product's PDF file that says the same thing (synblend). I'm saying it is weird because what I read was information supposedly from Exxon mobil. The author clearly misinterpreted what was said by Exxon Mobil

It's not that complicated once you realize XOM has two types of HM oils now: M1 HM (synthetic) and Super HM (blend).

True, but they also have Super Synthetic. While not a HM oil, what is the difference between Super Synthetic and Mobil 1?

Not being Dexos licensed/approved is one of the differences.

Incorrect. Mobil no longer produces a synthetic blend oil. It's right on their website. The previous syn blend, Mobil 7500, is no longer made.
