Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 Shortage?

All of the Walmart’s within 75 miles of me are out of Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w20.

For some reason, there is plenty of the Mobil 1 Extended Performance HM in-stock.

In general, the M1 shelves are quite bare right now. Has anyone noticed the same?

Well they seem to be pretty well stocked on 5W30 HM and 15W-50 so I don't think this is as a result of their recent pricing goofs.

It is only the 0W20 in short supply.

Try finding it on the Walmart website- it is not available.

At my WalMart they lock up the Mobil 1 oils. Other brands they dont. 0w20 is a high demand oil since most modern engine uses it. Looks like you are gonna need to wait or choose another brand.

supertech 5w20 syn has been oos at my local Walmart for 8 weeks. This is the only walmart within 200km so not sure of others.

Yesterday our WM shelves were full of M1. Looked nothing like your pic. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Mobil 1 must be having supply chain issues on something used in their lower viscosity oils. They have been out of stock or nearly out of stock since the Spring. A few of the other brands also sold out of lower viscosity oils for a few weeks but their stock has been returning to the shelves. Mobil 1 is still gone. All HDEO oils from all brands have been out of stock at my Walmart for several months now.

I stopped by my local Walmart yesterday to get some Mobil 1 Extended Performance, although in 5w30, and they had plenty of 0w-20 EP on the shelf. Checked online and 3 of 5 stores within 20 miles of my zip code had it in stock.

The 0w20 uses majority PAO. Other EP grades are PAO/GTL/III+.
