Hi,
1medic - I use Mobil 1 0W-40 in my Benz, a used oil analysis after 12.5k miles (18 months) will be published soon

I have published a number of Delvac 1 5W-40 used oil analysis with OCIs at around 12k miles in Porsche and Benz engines. All have shown that it could have gone much longer

I have used their 5w30 for close to 10k and am currently using their 5w30 EP to either one year or 15k. I dont have any used oil analysis to back anything up, but my vehicles run just fine and get excellent gas mileage.

I have used Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5w40 repeatedly without issues for oil change intervals between 8k and 11k miles in the past. used oil analysis were pretty good. I did however top off quite a bit, so the oil in the sump was refreshed several times.

i use 0w40 for 10-13k intervals on a Tundra V8, a FX45 and a miata. i just posted one from my father's truck for 10k/five years (10w30). on my former Cayenne S, the factory service interval for the V8 was 20k, with no severe service schedule. if the rest of the cayenne had been as good as the oil, it wouldn't have gone back under the lemon law...

I've used Mobil 1 10w30 and Mobil 1 5w30 for over 31 years with no problems, with some very high high mileage Fords. 200 to 300+Ks. 9-12 Ks OCIs. Engines stayed very clern.

If mobil clean 5,000 is good for 5000, miles and Mobil 7,500 is good for 7,500 miles, how long can regular Mobil 1 go? The extended performance is good for 15,000, so does the mean Mobil 1 is good for about 10,000? Also, Clean 7500 has 16 percent more cleaning agents the clean 500. How many more cleaning agents are in Mobil 1 compared to 7500? Thanx

I use Mobil 1 5w-20 for 10k OCI's without a problems. My used oil analysis show I could probably go a little longer.

Was a tough one for me to swallow, too. If the oil is good enough, though and the engine sound, it does work. I have a VW with a history of 10k OCIs and the used oil analysis are stellar. I am not alone in this, there are a bunch of them.
I wouldn't try it in my 1M-FE though.
