hey guys i have a question. i have an 06 honda element . i changed the oil tonight and did not realize i brought Mobil 1 ESP x2 thinking it was the Mobil 1 Extended Performance. do you guys think its safe to use or i need to dump it. thanks.

Mobil 1 ESP X2 is one of the few oils that meet VWs extremely strict 508 spec for new vehicles, it's one of the best oils available.

The Mobil 1 ESP x2 is excellent. Meets the Euro standards that API can't touch.
isn’t the X2 the 0W-20 Mobil 1 ESP???…does your ’06 Honda Element call for 0W-20???…if so you should be well served by your “mistake”...

sorry I meant to say the 0W-20 is the only X2 in the ESP line…other weights have a different addition to their weight (not X2)

You are lucky you accidentally bought an even better oil.
I would recommend you make the same mistake next time and for every time after that and leave the Mobil 1 Extended Performance on the shelf.
