Could the possibility be also that the truck is not driven enough to keep the seals working correctly?
I know we had a Toyota truck that we put all new seals/gaskets on and then it sat for almost 3yrs with the exception of being driven maybe 3-400 miles a month - that's probably stretching it.
Anyhow, when we truly put that truck back out on the road for daily duties she started leaking everywhere - almost broke down and thought about replacing everything again. However, we waited a bit, and about 3-4 weeks later the rear main seal completely dried up, along with the oil pan.
This particular truck has never seen a single drop of synthetic oil in it's life.
